Young Syrian Lenses is an independent and self-funded project – under the patronage of Amnesty International Italy – by filmmakers Ruben Lagattolla and Filippo Biagianti. Ruben and Filppo managed to enter Syria in 2014, to document the high-risk work of young photographers and media activists in Aleppo, as well as to give an account of the tragic situation under Bashar al Assad’s regime.
