A film that draws on archive material, accounts from activists, local administrators and scientists to tell the story of Saluggia, the small town near Turin where the majority of waste from closed down Italian nuclear plants is stored. To this day, this is where the dangerous radioactive liquid residues are kept.

Born in Ancona in 1966, he graduated in Film History and Criticism in Turin. From the beginning of the 1990s he worked with the Archivio Nazionale Cinematografico della Resistenza (ANCR), making several documentaries. Among his work: La Ferita (1991), Era Meglio Morire da Piccoli (1992), L’Orecchio Ferito del Piccolo Comandante (1994) special mention at the 1995 Locarno Film Festival, Il Sale della Terra (1995). He also works with theatre: with the group il Buio Fuori (The Outside Dark) he debuted in 2006 at the International Festival InTeatro in Polverigi with a show inspired by the poems of Malcolm Lowry, Come Ordini Urlati in una Tempesta di Vento.

Born in Chivasso (TO) in 1969, she has a degree in Film History and Criticism.
From 1992 she worked with the Museo Nazionale del Cinema in the field of photography and audiovisual production. From 1999 she worked with Zenit Arti Audiovisive as an editor and director. She edited the videos made during a workshop with Abbas Kiarostami organized by Museo del Cinema and scuola Holden and the documentary Il sogno di Peter by Enrico Cerasuolo, produced by Amref and Mestiere Cinema.

Born in Settimo Torinese in 1969. He studied photography and graduated in 1986 at the Istituto F. Balbis in Turin. He worked as a photographer for several local newspapers and then specialised in set photography, working both in Italy and abroad. He has exhibited his work in Russia, the Netherlands, France, Italy, and has published some photographic books. Since 2009 he teaches video camera techniques at Turin’s Istituto Europeo di Design.
