The Outlook for Someday 2012 - Arboraceous 2

A group of people use up all the resources on their planet and set out to find somewhere new to live. One person remains on the planet and realizes it is much easier to replenish the resources on their planet than to go searching for a new one.

Natasha Bishop, aged 18, is from Wellington, New Zealand.Natasha entered her short film Arbroraceous into The Outlook for Someday sustainability film challenge for young people in 2012 when she was 16 years old. Her main prize for making the standout winning film was a year’s tuition fees at Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, where she is now entering her second year of a Bachelor of Screen Arts degree.
In 2013 Arboraceous was entered into the Japan Wildlife Film Festival (JWFF), which is the largest event of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region. Natasha was the youngest film-maker to have a film nominated as a finalist in the 20 year history of JWFF.
